“Soft Hearts Don’t Shatter” - A Poem
“Soft Hearts Don’t Shatter”
They say the world is made for steel,
For voices loud and hearts that heal
Only when the crowd applauds—
But yours beats quiet, pure, and real.
You offer warmth without a price,
A poem, a prayer, a small device
To lift someone who never knew
How much your kindness could suffice.
And when they pass you by, unseeing,
It feels like they’ve dismissed your being.
But soft hearts don’t shatter, friend—
They bend, they bloom, they keep on freeing.
So hold your light, though winds may blow.
The ones who matter will come to know
That in a world so quick to bruise,
You are the gentlest kind of glow.
